Hope4Utah is excited to announce the 22nd annual Rocky Mountain Suicide Prevention Conference, taking place this December in beautiful Provo, Utah! We are grateful for another conference generously sponsored by the Cook Center for Human Connection. We know you will be inspired by our two keynote speakers, renowned suicide prevention researcher Thomas Joiner, Ph.D., and psychotherapist Dr. Kevin Skinner, as well as many amazing break-out sessions that focus on mental health and wellness. We invite you to take advantage of a wonderful mental health conference during prime skiing time in the beautiful mountains of Utah!
Conference attendees may also want to spend an evening at the Sundance Mountain Resort, which is only 20 minutes from Provo or take time to visit historic Salt Lake City, which is 45 minutes from Provo.

Thomas Joiner, Ph.D
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Thomas Joiner is an American academic psychologist and leading expert on suicide prevention. He was awarded the Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Florida State University. At FSU, he operates a Laboratory for the Study of the Psychology and Neurobiology of Mood Disorders, Suicide, and Related Conditions.



Dr. Kevin Skinner
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Kevin Skinner has been involved in psychotherapy for the past 20+ years. He has trained in diverse types of therapy, including psychotherapy, emotionally focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. He is a published author as well as the co-founder and clinical director of Addo Recovery, Path for Men, Bloom for Women and Domani for Grief.
